Owl Shaped Card

Hey all, I have made this card specially for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge which is a shaped card... in other words the card isn't a "normal" looking shape. So, because I love owls I thought I'd make an owl card. I designed & cut it all entirely by hand & scissors, a bit of double sided tape, A piece of "Fiskar's Embossing template (for the chest), 2 Stampin' Up! Modern Labels punched & hand written sentiment, oh & a wipe over the embossed part with white ink pad. The colour of the card is Stampin' Up! Sahara Sand & drawn eyes & beak in Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Write marker). I think that covers it, no I didn't make a template first.... now my daughters want a template....figures!!!
 1. Laying flat.
 2. Showing side view.
 3. Showing open & set up.
4. Showing a slight closer shot of the detail & the raised labels.

My Strange Spoiled Pets!!!

I was sitting watching TV the other night & looked across to see our Australian Kelpie X (Maggie, who has to have a pillow under her head) fast asleep with our smaller than average cat (Bel, who is blind in one eye from a car hitting him 4yrs ago) wanting to keep warm on a very cool night curled up on top of Maggie fast asleep as well. I thought it was the cutest thing I'd seen them do for a while, Maggie tends to be more loving & caring toward Bel, I think she knows he's a little disabled & lets him do these things. Oh & yes they are sleeping on a full leather lounge (spoiled rotten pets). We have another cat (Baylee the Russian Blue) who is normal in the physical sense... he just has a "marking of territories problem around the house, even so he has been "done" he still feels the need to let all know he owns everything. When he is inside, he only gets to stay in the bathroom otherwise we couldn't have him inside at all.

Stampin' Up Goes Blue on a card

Hi All,
This is my second "Less is More" challenge of "Shades of Blue". I got out my Stampin' Up! card stock & also used a technique that one of "Less is More's" owners played with a couple of weeks back. She used a block of sticky notes for her frame.... Well I found some heart shaped sticky notes & tried the technique out using my Big Shot. I also used some Stampin' Up! Brights designed scrap-book sized papers for the outside layers. Oh we had to put a little bit of bling in there too.... just one to set it off. I hope you like this take on "Shades of Blue" challenge of the week. Take care & have a great crafting week.
 Hugs,
Regina
P.S. I added a close-up of the risen heart so you could see the effect it has given.

Shades of Blue 1

"Less is More" have a new challenge... "Shades of Blue". So I had a look at all my origami papers I have collected over the years & came up with these shades. I recently bought some really cute sticky notes from a local cheapy store, they can in cute shapes with print on them & there happened to be an all blue/white dolphin in the pack. I cut the different papers in a wave pattern & different depths, layered them, added the dolphin plus an extra dolphin raised on top of the original. I then decided it needed a little bit of bling, so added some rhinestones to look a bit like bubbles in the water. I hope you all like my take on the challenge, thank you for looking & have a great week.
